La Poule Au Pot
Jean-Francois Piège, who owns a few restaurants in the region, was enthusiastic to take on the historic doll-house-like building which is now one of the best restaurants in Paris. La Poule au Pot still feels the same, although the prices and produce are a bit higher. Every day, classic onion soup is served. Squirrels, frog legs, and bone marrow also make regular appearances. Charolais beef fillet, poached chicken and puddings are big-hitting mains.
Marsan par Helene Darroze
Opened in 2019, Marsan by Helene Darroze is a newcomer on the list of the best restaurants in Paris. Named after her hometown in Landes, it is also a tribute to her love for the south-west and its flavors. You can enjoy tiny appetizers like crisps made of chicken skin with a foie gras flavor or mini goat's cheese pastries. Sea urchin, cauliflower, and caviar make a great starter. The gilthead bream is rich in savory flavors and the Paris cep, Colonnata backfat, and black truffle are all major mouthfuls. The Pyrenees' baby lamb is a subtle, thyme-scented showpiece. The food, which is distinct, exciting, and vitally French, contrasts with the sophisticated, mushroom-toned design.
Le Cadoret was opened by Lea Fleuriot, her brother Louis-Marie and is a neighborhood bistro and one of the best restaurants in Paris. It has craft beer and a contemporary wine list. Although the food may seem simple, there are great skills in creating blanquette and steak frites with a bearnaise sauce. Starters include potato, fermented cabbage, and haddock, or homemade Boudin noir and retro desserts (ile flottante and creme caramel), are subtle, but not sticky. It is located just a few steps from the Belleville Metro.
Double Dragon, another one of the best restaurants in Paris has a relaxed East Asian atmosphere. They serve a high-quality menu of spicy comfort food. They start with Comte bao buns with XO sauce and then move on to a Lao-style tripe salad. Sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken is a must-have. However, mapo tofu and other mainstays are not as popular. It's the more exotic dishes like a delicately foamy red curry with egg yolk that make Double Dragon more of a stop for anyone looking for a dose of chilli. The produce is mostly organic. There are French-inspired notes like the Morteau sausage with crispy rice and excellent wines can be found on the drinks menu next to Yunnan Tea and Sake. The relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere is unadorned.
